About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Account Specialist to join our team at Kyowa Kirin in Quebec/Atlantic Canada. As an Oncology Account Specialist, you will play a critical role in establishing our company as a leader in Oncology and Rare Diseases by demonstrating our commitment to supporting the efforts of Oncology/Rare Disease healthcare providers in improving patient health outcomes and becoming a trusted resource in demonstrating value along the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships
    • Identify and build strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned hospital systems/accounts
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the oncology and dermatology centers in assigned regions, identifying and mapping key stakeholders and patient flows
  • Drive Sales and Growth
    • Develop and execute effective hospital system and account planning, management, and selling process for hospital systems/accounts
    • Drive effective Cancer Care Boards/Centers planning, management, and selling process for target hospital systems, the patient journey for that system, identifying key influencers within the Cancer Care Boards/Centers, and building relationships to drive sales
  • Compliance and Integrity
    • Comply with all applicable federal and provincial regulations, the Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) Code of Ethical Practices, and Kyowa Kirin compliance policies
    • Demonstrate integrity and high ethical standards in interactions with stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in science or business required. MBA, Pharmacy/Medical Degree preferred
  • Experience
    • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical account management experience. 3 years' experience within institutional, oncology, or rare disease sales
    • Proven track record of sales success with the ability to successfully develop and apply clinical and business expertise, and effective selling skills
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Veeva is a must
  • Non-Technical Skills
    • Highly motivated and with great attention to detail
    • Strong endurance to work under tight timelines and complex/changing situations
