Qualifications:
- Typically acquired through post-secondary education at a university or technical institute in fields such as:
- Business Administration
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Information Technology
- Certifications:
- Preferred: Project Management Institute - Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) Certification.
- Desired: Certification in People Change Management (e.g., Prosci).
- Additional relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) are advantageous.
- At least eight (8) years of experience as a Project Manager III, overseeing large and intricate projects.
- A minimum of five (5) years in financial reporting for medium to large-scale projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and control.
- Five (5) years of experience managing third-party vendors effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects, covering project performance management, requirements gathering, solution design, development, and testing.
- Solid background in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
- Preferred: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT and/or telecommunications (wireline, wireless, converged) within the last seven (7) years.
- Accountable for all facets of the project (or phase) throughout its entire lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, control, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage the project/program schedule, budget, scope, requirements, benefits, issues, risks, and communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for the project/program.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills in organization, planning, facilitation, risk analysis, project/program performance management, negotiation, and communication (both verbal and written).
- Possess core competencies such as initiative, relationship building, influencing others, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Oversee the overall project/program, including:
- Facilitating the development of and adhering to the required Client Corporate Program Management Office (cPMO) standard Project Management deliverables, such as Business Case, Project Plan, Project Schedule, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with project/program budget; responsible for cost management and reporting.
- Managing project/program communications, including the development of a Project Communications Plan, regular team status updates, and communicating status at a Director and Executive level.
- Planning and executing People Change Management strategies.
