Overview:

We are in search of an Acquisition Specialist to enhance our team and facilitate the seamless operation of production by effectively sourcing goods and services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying new vendors to fulfill our operational needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Source goods and services to satisfy production demands while minimizing shortages and managing inventory levels.
  • Enhance part costs, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Accelerate the delivery of goods when required.
  • Engage in negotiations with suppliers and foster positive relationships.
  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers and components.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Discover new suppliers for both existing and new components.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possession of a University, College, or Technical Post-Secondary education.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement.
  • Familiarity with AX or D365 systems is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills with suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
