Nursery Labourer

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Nursery Labourer to join our team at KS Nurseries Ltd. in a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:- Tie and secure plants to ensure proper growth and development.
- Weeding and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth.
- Mix and prepare soils to meet the specific needs of our plants.
- Plant bulbs and seeds in a controlled environment.
- Pot and re-pot plants to ensure optimal growth.
- Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to promote healthy growth.
- Report signs of insect or disease damage to prevent the spread of disease.
- Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs to prepare for transplanting.
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth.
- Clean the work area to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Our nursery is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Requirements:- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
