About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor, Data Protection to join our Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI) team.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data and that of our customers.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement an organization-wide data loss protection program, including the creation of policies, procedures, and technical controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an organization-wide data loss protection program, including the creation of policies, procedures, and technical controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data assets requiring protection and determine appropriate data protection measures.
  • Evaluate and select technologies and tools to support the program and oversee their implementation and configuration.
  • Monitor and analyze incidents and Data Loss Protection (DLP) tool alerts to identify potential security threats or breaches and take appropriate action to prevent data loss.
  • Educate and train employees on data governance policies and procedures, best practices, and information security awareness.
  • Work closely with compliance teams to ensure data governance policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Participate in security incident response activities, including investigations and remediation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and data governance and assess their relevance to our organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
  • Experience in selecting and deploying data loss prevention (DLP) technologies and tools.
  • One of the following certifications would be a major asset: CISSP, CIPP, CDPSE.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study, and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) – Ability to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
