About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager II to join our team at Vancity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial advice and services to our members, helping them achieve their financial goals and grow their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to members, identifying their needs and recommending suitable products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, understanding their financial goals and objectives.
  • Meet targets and contribute to the profitability of the branch and Vancity.
  • Apply branch service standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of financial planning coursework, including investment funds and Canadian securities courses.
  • Minimum 3 years of member service experience in the financial industry, with a minimum of 2 years in an Account Manager role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Banking and/or call center experience.
  • Lending experience, including mortgage lending.
What We Offer

As a union role, the salary will be as per the collective agreement salary grid, starting at $34.40 (Grp 5 Step 1).
