Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Veterinary Helper to join our team at Clearbrook Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Helper, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients.
Responsibilities:- Bathe and shampoo animals to ensure their cleanliness and comfort.
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Keep accurate records of animals treated, including their medical history and treatment plans.
- Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, under the supervision of our veterinarians.
- Clean animal ears and maintain their overall health and well-being.
- Maintain and order supplies to ensure our hospital is well-stocked and prepared for any situation.
- Clip animal nails and perform dental cleaning on domestic animals.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in animal care is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, dependability, and flexibility are essential for this role.
Our animal hospital is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As a Veterinary Helper, you will work closely with our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and other support staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Language:English is the primary language spoken in our hospital, and we require all staff members to be proficient in English.Work Hours:
We offer a 40-hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
