Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, rotating stock, and ensuring that the sales floor is free of clutter and obstacles.
  • Assist with the sale of goods by processing transactions, answering customer questions, and making recommendations on products.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
