About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited. As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products are fully stocked and available to consumers in local grocery stores.

As a representative of our company, you will be responsible for maintaining and replenishing products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers. This will involve transporting product between the backroom and front-of-store using manual or powered equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Product Maintenance: Maintain and replenish products in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by transporting product between backroom and front-of-store.
  • Display Management: Build, change or remove product displays while adhering to company standards; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space and securing damaged or defective product.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels; evaluate and process damaged product; re-pack product; organize backroom materials.
  • Customer Service: Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers.
  • Physical Requirements: Repetitively lift, carry and position product (weight up to 50lbs or 22kgs) above shoulder height without assistance; consistent kneeling, squatting and reaching above the head; ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience working in grocery, retail, warehousing or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred; ability to work under little to no supervision preferred.
  • Requirements: Must have a personal vehicle for use during working hours; must have current vehicle liability insurance; valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations over the last three (3) years.
