About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at PRESIDENT CONVENTION CENTER INC. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • East Indian cuisine specialties.
