Position Overview

The Housekeeper role is crucial to our operations, providing essential support across various departments including laundry, guest services, and front desk responsibilities. This position is integral to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks for guest rooms, communal spaces, and service areas.
  • Execute scheduled deep cleaning assignments on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Assist at the front desk with tasks such as answering calls, processing reservations, handling payments, and welcoming guests.
  • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a pleasant stay.
  • Prioritize and organize workload effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain clear communication with guests and team members, documenting interactions as necessary.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Has a passion for cleaning and laundry tasks, as these comprise the majority of the role.
  • Enjoys engaging in physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting (up to 15lbs).
  • Is self-driven, reliable, and a collaborative team player who takes initiative.
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Is fluent in English.
  • Thrives in both independent and team-oriented work environments.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19.00 to $21.00, commensurate with experience.
