About the Role

As a member of the BGIS team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. This includes cleaning floors, walls, and other surfaces, as well as performing tasks such as stripping and finishing hard surface floors, and cleaning glass areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean floors, walls, and other surfaces using various cleaning equipment and solutions
  • Strip and finish hard surface floors, including washroom floors
  • Clean glass areas, including windows and mirrors
  • Transport garbage and supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Experience in cleaning and maintenance
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and shifts as assigned
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation:

  • Must meet security clearance requirements, where applicable
  • Must have a valid Class G license, where required

This is a regular, part-time position with a wage range of $18.00 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, and performance related to this role.
