Bakery Operations Supervisor

The Bakery Operations Supervisor at FRESH TASTE BAKERY plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within our bake shop. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong background in baking and team management.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within a bakery or food service environment.
This role is set in a fast-paced bake shop, where attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
- Oversee the sales and merchandising of baked goods.
- Handle staff scheduling, hiring, and dismissals as necessary.
This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Personal Attributes- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively as part of a team.
- Free parking is available for employees.
- This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 35 hours per week.
