Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Lifemark. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physiotherapists with client care, including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs, and other treatment modalities.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and healthcare professionals.
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals, promoting independence and empowerment.
  • Collect and analyze outcome measure data to inform treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain and clean/sterilize medical equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Inventory and manage clinical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.

Requirements

  • PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working within a clinic setting.
  • Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills.
