Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at JLSpecialists HVAC Repair Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics, electric appliance servicers and repairers, and construction millwrights.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production and other reports to track maintenance activities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical Expertise: Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Materials Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Communication: Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification.

  • Work Environment: Work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
