Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate - Cashier to join our team at Mont-Tremblant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Operate a cash register, manage cash handling, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Assist customers with purchases, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store displays.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Secondary V or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that may include evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $17.37, $19.32, or $21.52, depending on experience, plus a 2% commission on sales.
