At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Unit 32, an acute medical unit that prioritizes holistic palliative care, patient and family support, and education. As a key member of our inter-disciplinary team, you will provide family-focused nursing care, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will utilize your nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to provide safe and quality patient care. You will be guided by your education, experience, and AHS policies and procedures. Your role will involve working effectively within an inter-disciplinary team to provide quality care to patients, reporting observations, and demonstrating a commitment to continuing education.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
As required.
