We are seeking a skilled Brake/Shear/Laser Operator to join our team at Custom Vacuum Services Ltd. in Nisku, Alberta. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating complex machinery, including a 175 ton CNC Power press brake, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Our team of highly skilled technicians and tradesmen work together to deliver exceptional products and services to our customers in the Western Canadian Oilfield and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) industries.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, and layout of work
- Operate complex machinery, including a 175 ton CNC Power press brake, to produce high-quality components
- Check finished components using precision measuring equipment
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Follow quality control programs and use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Work effectively as a team member to problem-solve and meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in brake and shear operations
- Second or third-year apprentice sheet metal worker preferred
- Shop experience an asset
- Knowledge of proper bending procedures and experience programming CNC press brake an asset
- Experience with Cincinnati Laser Table an asset
- Ability to practice safe work practices and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
