About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our cloud solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing large-scale Salesforce projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and test engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test strategies, and release notes.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies, methodologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our cloud solutions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a minimum of 1 recent project in a Financial Services Cloud environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce tools, including Salesforce DX, and experience with workflow processes at various stages of the SDLC cycle.
  • Salesforce certifications, including Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Integration Architect, and Salesforce App Builder.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify innovative solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
