Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a culinary environment.
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Accommodate customers with specific dietary needs, including food allergies and intolerances.
- Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and proper food handling practices.
- Manage inventory by ordering necessary supplies and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen personnel and assist in their development.
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.
- Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for kitchen staff.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in the workplace is English.
