A&W Restaurants Inc. is currently looking for dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisors to oversee our culinary operations.
Position Overview: As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily activities of our food preparation team, ensuring high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the tasks of staff involved in food preparation and service.
- Estimate and procure necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and waste, reporting findings to management.
- Train new employees in their job functions, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Ensure that food quality and service meet our corporate standards.
- Handle cash transactions and manage opening and closing procedures with precision.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment among team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation.
- Secondary school education is required.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for guest service.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Availability to work 32-40 hours per week.
