Human Resources Specialist

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Oversee and guide staff operations.
    • Design, implement, and assess human resources policies and initiatives.
    • Facilitate staff training and development.
    • Provide guidance to management and employees regarding human resources policies and benefits.
    • Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures.
    • Administer various human resources programs including employment equity.
    • Develop and manage training strategies.
    • Conduct research on employee benefits and safety practices, recommending necessary adjustments.
    • Prepare and manage reporting documentation.
    • Advise senior leadership on HR matters.
    • Address employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise team members.
    • Manage payroll processes.
    • Suggest enhancements to operational methods and systems.
  • Technical ProficiencyFamiliarity with Workday, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
