Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Willowbrae Academy Bayview Village.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 0-12 years. This includes planning and implementing educational programs, observing and recording children's progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement educational programs that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Observe and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and need
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition for children
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Medical exam
  • Immunization records
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
