POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under the guidance of the Director of Food & Beverage, this role presents a unique opportunity to oversee our dining establishments, lounge, and event services while working collaboratively with various departments and guests to craft unforgettable experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contribute to the development of operational policies, procedures, and staff scheduling as needed.
  • Ensure that the Food & Beverage department adheres to Hilton's established standards.
  • Provide support to team members by sharing innovative ideas, best practices, and assisting in problem resolution.
  • Lead and organize operations within dining venues and event spaces.
  • Exhibit strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Maintain organization, attention to detail, and take proactive measures.
  • Inspire, lead, and motivate the entire Food & Beverage team to achieve positive outcomes in guest satisfaction, financial objectives, and employee morale.
  • Oversee financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
  • Actively participate in hotel committees and departmental meetings.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and coaching in collaboration with Human Resources to ensure effective disciplinary processes and performance management.
  • Assist in the rollout of Hilton programs and initiatives.
  • Encourage inter-departmental collaboration and communication to enhance customer service and overall satisfaction through coordinated activities and regular meetings.
  • Help prepare reports as needed to create a more informative database for decision-making.
  • Design and implement Food & Beverage promotions.
  • Meet budget forecasts and achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Optimize productivity through effective scheduling and cost management.
  • Ensure all restaurant staff receive required training.
  • Complete month-end procedures, including inventory management, costing, and analysis.
  • Manage and maintain the Micros point of sale system.
  • Guarantee superior cleanliness and quality standards in all outlets.
  • Utilize social media effectively to promote operations and staff.
  • Continuously develop and employ creative strategies to enhance guest experiences and ensure consistency among team members.
  • Manage and improve SALT in all areas, reporting as necessary.
  • Engage actively with the community and industry, upholding Hilton's values.
  • Address customer and team member concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Analyze market research data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue and market share growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to assist in all Food & Beverage operations (restaurant, bar, banquets, and event spaces).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Management within a hotel environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banquet service.
  • Strong background in restaurant operations with exposure to various roles.
  • Experience with MICROS Simphony is advantageous.
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management.
  • Valid SMART Serve Certificate.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, Permanent

SALARY: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
