  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment, and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
