Job Title: Apartment Building Caretaker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Building Caretaker to join our team at Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C.

Job Summary:

The Apartment Building Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our residential properties. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Ability to work in an urban area and a retirement home
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
