Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
- Conditions: Noisy and dusty
- Setting: Construction sites
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ascertain project requirements
- Develop layouts in compliance with building regulations, utilizing measuring instruments
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel
- Oversee and guide other team members
- Estimate project costs and required materials
