We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Support Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability and efficiency of our enterprise-level systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Level 3 production operations for critical systems, including data caching and scheduling tools.
- Address escalations from lower support tiers, ensuring effective incident and problem management.
- Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and implement necessary changes to enhance system performance.
- Identify and improve operational processes through automation and best practices.
- Collaborate with global teams to provide 24/7 support in a follow-the-sun model.
- Engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate system changes.
- Participate in regular review meetings and agile ceremonies to align with engineering teams.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Linux System Administration, preferably with Red Hat.
- Hands-on experience with data caching technologies, such as Gemfire or Redis.
- Familiarity with batch scheduling tools, particularly Autosys.
- Knowledge of scripting and orchestration languages, including Perl, Python, and Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring tools and modern observability practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with management and peers.
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities and a sense of ownership.
- Understanding of operational and agile methodologies, including DevOps and SRE concepts.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure production support, ideally within a regulated sector.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with cloud environments and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with work management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting tools like TCPdump and Wireshark.
- Interest in emerging IT trends and technologies.
