We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Automotive Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed.
- Adjust and Repair Automotive Systems: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including engine repair, 4-wheel drive, electrical and electronic systems, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
- Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform scheduled maintenance service on vehicles, including routine inspections and repairs.
- Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
- Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Work Environment: Dusty and noisy work environment.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 hours per week.
