About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team at First Student Shared Services. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections.
  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds a T license.
  • Possess a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program. Training, testing, and bonuses provided.
