Job Summary

Speedtech Logistics Inc is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, adhering to schedules and deadlines
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and cargo information
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers to coordinate transportation and resolve any issues
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, driving a tractor-trailer combination. You will be required to spend long periods of time sitting and driving, as well as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
