**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our primary health care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a community setting
  • Provide health promotion and protection services, including first-line treatment and emergency services
  • Offer supportive counseling and instruction in the management of medical conditions
  • Conduct community needs assessments and participate in evaluative projects
  • Collaborate with and refer to other healthcare professionals as needed

Requirements:

  • Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree
  • One year of experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion
  • Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care, ER, acute care, or primary care
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)

Preferred Qualifications:

Other Information:

  • Registered/eligible for registration with the CRNS as RN (NP)
  • One year of nursing experience in a primary health or community setting preferred
  • Position is based in Fort Qu'Appelle
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for work
