Job Title: Excavation Worker

We are seeking a skilled Excavation Worker to join our team at Excellence Excavating Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Excavation Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to excavation, construction, and site maintenance. This includes loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades. The successful candidate will also be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, as well as assisting with medical examiner duties and leveling earth to fine grade specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting with medical examiner duties
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Overtime required
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
