Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Western Restaurant Franchises Inc. O/A A & W Restaurant.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a physically demanding environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule to be determined.
