Position Overview:
We are looking for an Area Manager to oversee the daily functions of a portfolio of multi-family residential properties. This position will involve leading a team of site personnel and playing a pivotal role in the success of our asset management initiatives. The Area Manager will tackle operational and management challenges specific to the designated area and provide solutions to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve operational challenges while maintaining high standards of service.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to report on area performance and propose improvements.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in an operations management capacity, ideally within property management or real estate.
- Strong expertise in sales and customer service, demonstrating the ability to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Experience in managing team performance, offering constructive feedback, and coaching staff effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with tenants, staff, and senior management.
- Proven leadership abilities, fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
- Solid grasp of financial management, including budgeting and cost analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Willingness to travel as required.
