About the Role

SAIT's Athletic and Recreation department is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the position of Minor Official Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing designated projects within Athletics and Recreation, with a focus on providing leadership for SAIT Trojans athletic events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage event engagement, enhancement, and promotion for SAIT Trojans athletic events.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to new employees and volunteers.
  • Assist with setup and takedown of facilities for events.
  • Develop and implement promotional materials for events, including social media content and posters.
  • Collaborate with the Trojans Broadcasting Crew to produce high-quality event coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with CCAA, ACAC, and SAIT pre-participation training and certification requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for spectators and participants.
Requirements
  • Completion of grade 12 or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous work experience with Trojans and/or Athletics & Recreation.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
