OSS Senior Systems Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled OSS Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, testing, and upgrading real-time rating systems using modern methodologies such as CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and deploy real-time rating systems using CI/CD methodologies
  • Plan and implement configuration changes at the OS and application level
  • Provide 2nd-level support to the 1st-level Operations team
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues by analyzing logs, debugging, and quantifying the full impact
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve system reliability and maintainability
  • Automate workflow and streamline processes using scripting capabilities
  • Compare vendor systems to determine the best solution for implementing new systems
Requirements:
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
  • 2 years' experience in a related area
  • Strong knowledge of RHEL/Unix Sys Admin Level 3
  • Working knowledge of IP technology, VM Ware, and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Ability to solve technical issues quickly and independently
  • Knowledge of real-time rating and charging systems, XML, SNMP, LDAP, and SOAP protocols
