Job Summary

The Innovation Specialist at UHN will work under the direction of the Cancer Care Quality and Innovation Manager to lead quality improvement activities in acute oncology and patient flow, ensuring safe and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance Cancer Program strategy and quality improvement projects
  • Analyze performance indicators and lead quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage projects focused on innovation and care delivery
  • Facilitate change in models of care and clinical standardization
  • Participate in Committees and administrative tasks for quality improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completion
  • 6-8 years of healthcare experience
  • Experience in quality and performance improvement
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach others
  • Demonstrated change management and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
