Course Overview

This course focuses on the intricate details of microprocessors and their overall architecture, covering both CISC and RISC designs. It delves into microcontrollers and embedded systems, equipping students with the skills to design computers utilizing microprocessors. The course also introduces the essential concepts of hardware and software co-design.

Schedule

Classes are scheduled for Tuesday from 17:30 to 19:00 and Thursday from 17:30 to 19:00.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a strong command of the subject matter, demonstrated through prior teaching experience in similar courses or relevant professional experience. A valid Professional Engineer license is required. Regular applicants should hold a doctorate in a related field; otherwise, substantial work experience in a relevant area post-Ph.D. is necessary.

Contract Details

The contract for this course includes compensation for 52 hours, as attendance at tutorials for at least one hour weekly is expected.
