Job Description

**About the Role**

Extreme Reach is seeking a highly skilled Video Editing Specialist to join our creative team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various video editing and production service-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Video Editing**: Perform basic video editing tasks, including cutting, trimming, and assembling video footage to create compelling and engaging videos.
  • **Post-Production**: Assist in the post-production process, including color correction, audio syncing, and adding and adjusting graphics and animations.
  • **Content Organization**: Maintain a well-organized local and networked video library and ensure all project files are neatly categorized for easy retrieval by others as necessary. Execution of automation templates for processing assets.
  • **Quality Control**: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure videos meet the company's standards and client specifications.

Application Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects & Photoshop
  • Basic knowledge of Avid Media Composer & DaVinci Resolve.
  • Understanding of Loudness and Closed Captioning recommended
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets
  • Understanding of Dataclay Templater or Comps from Sheets a bonus, but not required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Video Editing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Basic understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings.
  • Previous video editing experience, either through internships, coursework, or personal projects, is a plus.
