Position Overview:

The Line Cook plays a vital role in ensuring the culinary excellence of our establishment. With a deep passion for gastronomy, they are dedicated to delivering exceptional dishes consistently. They embody teamwork, maintain a proactive attitude, and uphold a strong commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks as directed by the Sous Chef, Head Chef, or General Manager.
  • Prepare daily meals in accordance with Arcadian's high standards.
  • Adhere to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain an organized prep list for assigned duties.
  • Implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure ingredient freshness.
  • Assist with inventory management and control.
  • Support the proper receiving and storage of food deliveries.
  • Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils clean, following strict sanitation and food safety protocols.
  • Comply with WHMIS and MSDS regulations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a dynamic restaurant environment.
  • A culinary diploma or degree is advantageous.
  • Proficient in professional cooking techniques and knife skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Serve Safe certification is required.
