Job Summary

Ornge is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team. As a Pilatus PC12 First Officer, you will be responsible for the safe operation of our aircraft, ensuring the well-being of our crew and passengers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate the Pilatus PC12 aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks to ensure aircraft airworthiness
  • Collaborate with flight crew members to ensure smooth flight operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Pilot License
  • 500 hours Total Time
  • Current IFR
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • Prior PC12 and EMS experience is desirable
  • Valid Canadian Passport or ability to work in Canada and ability to travel to the USA
  • A criminal record search is a requirement for this position
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations

Working Conditions

  • Work various shifts and overtime, including day and night shifts and weekends in a 24/7 environment
  • May be required to overnight away from home base
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to within close proximity of assigned base location
