We are seeking a skilled Counter Clerk to join our team at Italia Salami. As a Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, providing advice to customers, and working with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your time effectively to meet productivity and sales targets.
- Suggestive selling techniques to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Work with a variety of food and food products, including meats, cheeses, and other deli items.
- Own vehicle required for occasional transportation to and from work.
- Screening questions will be asked during the hiring process to ensure you meet the requirements of the job.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset, but not necessary.
- Permanent position available.
- 30 hours per week.
- English language required.
