We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Wound Care Specialist at Classic LifeCare in Prince George, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine footcare treatments, including nail trimming, callus reduction, and treatment of minor foot ailments in clients' homes with best practice standards.
- Utilize foot care tools and autoclaving services as needed.
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided and used appropriately.
- Current LPN/RN/RPN license in British Columbia.
- Completion of a recognized foot care course.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Completion of a Criminal Record Check.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Prince George Area.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients' family members, and relevant organizations to meet clients' best interests and goals.
- Excellent technical skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of client care documentation using our online systems.
