About the Role

LISA TRANSPORT INC is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • System Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of computer systems and networks to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures to protect our systems and data from unauthorized access.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
  • Network Setup and Maintenance: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, and perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
