Role Overview:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a pivotal role in our outbound sales team, educating potential clients and contributing to our impressive growth trajectory. This position is essential for our sales organization, focusing on scheduling qualified meetings for our Account Executives through proactive outreach. Your performance will be measured by the number of qualified demonstrations you facilitate. As a BDR, your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging potential clients through cold calls, articulating how our software can enhance their business operations.
  • Generating qualified leads for our Account Executives.
  • Developing expertise in prospecting, identifying key decision-makers, and recognizing areas where WellnessLiving can provide solutions.
  • Managing your own portfolio, overseeing your pipeline, opportunities, and daily activities using Salesforce.

Expectations for Your First Months:

First Month:

  • Participate in a comprehensive BDR onboarding program, guided by management and experienced peers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, Account Executives, and other team members to learn best practices and diverse approaches to the role.
  • Hone your skills as a top-performing BDR through role-playing exercises, call evaluations, and initiating your first outreach calls.
  • Aim to achieve 2 qualified demonstrations in your initial month.

Second Month:

  • Continue enhancing your sales abilities, working closely with your manager and training team to identify improvement areas.
  • Target 100 outbound calls daily, leveraging peer insights to optimize your daily structure.
  • Strive for 5 qualified demonstrations in your second month.

Third Month:

  • Further refine your sales techniques, optimize your daily processes, and aim for 110 calls per day.
  • Gain a solid understanding of our software, learn to handle common objections, and effectively manage Salesforce.
  • Achieve a final month quota of 7 qualified demonstrations.
