Instructional Content Developer

We operate across 160 sites in more than 35 countries with a team of over 9,000 professionals, annually providing training to a vast number of civil and defense personnel, including a substantial count of pilots and healthcare experts.

The Role

  • Develop diverse training materials utilizing various media formats, adhering to established protocols for crafting content suitable for classroom instruction, computer-based training, videos, and live demonstrations with authentic or simulated equipment.
  • Create storyboards, lessons, instructor guides, student guides, and other educational materials through the use of computerized database systems, word processing tools, and software designed for training development.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, graphic designers, and other team members to produce computer-aided instructional content and interactive lecture materials.
  • Independently or in conjunction with colleagues and clients, validate the efficacy of training materials.

Your Profile

  • Possess a relevant diploma from a technical institution and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent blend of educational background and practical exposure.
  • Familiarity with Learning Content Management Systems.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Adobe suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Animate, Media Encoder, Premier, Audition, and other related software for media creation and editing.
  • Eligibility for a Canadian Level II NATO Secret Security Clearance.
  • Adherence to Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) requirements and potentially ITAR specifications for certain cases.
  • Compliance with CAE's Epidemic/Pandemic vaccination policy mandating full vaccination due to on-site work at a client location where vaccination is mandatory as per Canadian government regulations.
  • Authorization to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or with a valid Work Permit.
