Position Overview

Thales is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Applications Coordinator who will oversee all aspects of lifecycle application management (LCAM) for LC4ISR, including software lifecycle management tasks such as configuration management, code archiving, version control, training, documentation, packaging, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Lifecycle Applications Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting engineering analyses to provide technical solutions to defined application or operational challenges, including the preparation of Engineering Changes (ECs).
  • Issuing Material Change Notices (MCNs) when ECs impact end-items such as part numbers and drawing numbers.
  • Establishing standards and criteria pertinent to applications and software maintenance.
  • Preparing and updating specifications, drawings, software handbooks, and technical instructions.
  • Executing configuration management tasks.
  • Monitoring and reporting on managed software applications, including cataloging, version control, and upgrade options.

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in security engineering, with expertise in at least 4 of the following areas:
    • Utilizing a recognized process framework or LCMM Handbook.
    • Working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for equipment cataloging.
    • Maintaining and developing checklists within ERP systems.
    • Coordinating equipment or software distribution through ERP.
    • Providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports (TFR) and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports (UCR).
    • Analyzing Statements of Operational Requirements (SOR).
    • Reviewing Technical Data Packages (TDP).
    • Planning and executing equipment or software demilitarization and disposal.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Security Specialist on Military Command and Control systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in preparing technical documents, including requirements, specifications, and reports.
