Your Role as a Water Damage Restoration Specialist

As a Water Damage Restoration Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients during challenging times. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing clear and timely communication with Project Managers regarding the status of work.
  • Assessing the category of water damage and implementing appropriate restoration techniques.
  • Extracting water using specialized equipment, such as truck mounts and portable pumps.
  • Identifying non-restorable building components and assisting with demolition.
  • Setting up drying equipment according to established procedures and monitoring the drying process.
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Water Restoration Technician Certification (preferred)
  • Clean Criminal Record Check
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • Experience driving and parking panel vans and cube trucks
  • Ability to lift industrial fans (30-40 lbs) and maneuver wheeled dehumidifiers
  • Knowledge of construction and basic building materials
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
  • Experience in custodial work, pressure washing, or carpet cleaning (an asset)
