About the Role

Graham Construction & Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Finance department, you will be responsible for providing accounting and financial support on a portfolio of buildings projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain project accounting processes and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide financial analysis and management reporting to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • 8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices.
  • Technical accounting proficiency in billing and cost accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
